It's that time of year and the mosquitoes can really make evenings outdoors unpleasant. I've used this particular mixture for mosquito repellent and not only did it work, it smelled amazing. Try "Lavender"!
Lavender repels mosquitoes because mosquitoes dislike the scent lavender gives off. It can be planted in gardens or made into oil and applied to the skin or mixed with other oils to keep mosquitoes away and other nasty pests.
3 oz Lavender Floral Water
30 drops Citronella
20 Drop *Eucalyptus Caution~ *Not for use with children under 3, or if using homeopathic medicines. Avoid with high blood pressure and in epilepsy.
* You can substitute Peppermint
Shake the Spray Bottle Well before Spraying this mixture on your body. Always close your eyes when applying to your neck and face.
I've also found that "Lavender Floral Water" by itself can be a wonderful and safe Mosquito Deterrent for Young Children.
