Class runs from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
It's important to at least arrive 15 minutes early. You may bring your yoga mat, pillow, bolster, and blanket if you prefer or we can bring in a chair this is easier. Please wear comfortable clothing.
What is sound therapy? Sound therapy is a gentle form of energy healing that has been used for thousands of years. It works with the nervous system, tissues, and energy to restore harmony to the body. It is a deeply relaxing modality that can offer long-term benefits. As the stress and pressure from daily life continue to increase, more people need methods to relax and regain internal harmony and balance. Sound and vibrational therapy offer an experience that can create a state of deeper relaxation allowing the body to enter a restorative state, promoting self-healing. Sound healing has been used to increase relaxation, reduce stress, clear energetic blockages, and support mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being all of which can lead to improved health. For this workshop, I will start by performing a guided breathing exercise to bring you into a more relaxed state. I will then play a variety of instruments including crystal singing bowls, buffalo drum, Zaphir chimes, seed pod chimes, and a rain stick to take you into an even deeper state of relaxation. If we have a very small class, I may include the use of tuning forks.
